Extreme Weight Loss Meals – Cauliflower Rice – Basic Paleo



I was recently looking at paleo diet recipes, and came across the ingredient cauliflower rice, I never used or heard of it, so I decided to make it. For someone who does not usually like cauliflower, the cauliflower rice was excellent.

What was more interesting to me was the benefits of using cauliflower to replace rice and other starches. At a mere 25 calories per cup, I could make a many more dishes that are still low calorie that normally I would avoid making. It also allowed me to expand into many other paleo recipes that I could play around with to make my own.

It is very easy to prepare:

1. Cut a cauliflower into quarters.

2. Use a cheese grater to shred the cauliflower.

3. Press the cauliflower dry with paper towel (so it is not soggy).

4. In 1 tablespoon of olive oil, fry the cauliflower rice on medium heat, with the lid on, for 5-8 minutes until it is steamed through.

Then eat it! Or cook with it!
