    It’s a sad but true fact that we’re our own harshest critics.

    We can often say unkind things to ourselves that we wouldn’t dream of saying to our loved ones.

    Why do we do this?!

    Why are we so hard on ourselves?

    The culprit is usually low self-esteem.

    Perhaps you had poor role models growing up, or maybe you’ve experienced:

    – Bullying
    – Rejection
    – Failure
    – Loss
    – Abuse
    – Trauma

    These are all things that can decimate your self-esteem.

    Thanks to these painful experiences, you may be weighed down by guilt and shame, believing that you’re undeserving of love, respect or compassion.

    How does this affect weight loss?

    A healthy self-esteem is essential for a healthy mind, which in turn creates a healthy body.

    I've just started this 30 day challenge this morning before starting my day. I've done it in the past but I wasn't focused enough or falling asleep listening to it at bedtime wasn't the right way for me to do this and I always went off course.     I was browsing the pizza hut website earlier. . ended up running to make a salad with lean cuisine egg rolls. I listen to this every night to go to sleep. I don't weigh myself but I think this made it easier. I could have ordered pizza

    I can't seem to actually do what the video tells me to, mostly because of the overlapping voices so I can't really hear what he's saying. I try to do whatever it tells me to but I just can't seem to get into that calm state of mind. Please someone, tell me what to do. Also, I'm under 20 and I find myself overweight but I'm not doing anything to help myself lose weight. Tips, anyone?

    I have definitely found myself craving healthy foods over sugary unhealthy stuff. Never thought I could say no to apple turnovers and ice cream.
    And I have been able to keep the weight off!! That is the hardest part of losing weight. 🙁
    If I feel myself having snack urges, I just listen to this video…and almost instantly I am back on track again!!
