    Hi I'm enjoying your channel. I just found paleo after similar health concerns. I'm feeling ama ing, but lots to learn! This looks yummy! I'm going to look for date paste!

    Whey protein can add a creamy richness to this sort of thing, along with raw eggs. Added salt brings out sweetness so you don't put in as much sweetener. Cinnamon adds flavour but also keeps you more insulin sensitive. Adding a gel or general fibre not only makes it thick, but slows digestion of the food. Otherwise smoothies go through us too quickly and we dont get anywhere near as much nutrition from it. Like carnivores, we have short intestinal tracts and slowing digestion is really important
