G’day, I’m Durianrider from Adelaide, South Australia. I first became a personal trainer back in 1999 and have trained with some of the fittest people on the planet. Ive learned a lot along the way and I run the largest vegan forum in the world with Freelee the Banana Girl (, and I bust my ass every single day to help people help themselves while saving the animals and the planet at the same time. I’m a high carb, plant-based vegan cyclist who gives no fucks about saying what needs to be said.

Stand up for what you believe in, or sit the fruit back down!.

She looks great, but this is just dumb…. She obviously doesn't lift and whatever macros she was running….needed to be tweaked if lean muscle mass and fat loss were a goal. I do paleo based diet and have for 3-4 years. My carb intake is guided by whatever I'm trying to do at the time. If I'm trying to build, I'll up my carbs.
Paleo isn't necessarily low carb, it just depends on what your goals are.
I was a McDougal/China Study vegetarian before this. So glad I changed!

yah, whatever. I was vegan for a year and not only GAINED a crap load of weight, but began having some serious metabolic problems. I went to a (real, certified) nutritionist/MD who said that veganism is an extreme diet fad that rarely works the way you want it to. she put me on a strict paleo diet and after just a month I lost 20 lbs and it's still coming off. cholesterol and triglycerides are down, energy through the roof, skin is better… etc.

this girl probably has a head of broccoli for every meal to stay that freakishly thin (not healthy at all, btw).

    also, gatorade? really?

She clearly doesn't understand paleo. It's not the same protein/carbs for everybody. U can do paleo and eat more low carb. Each body processes food differently!! It's called listening to ur body which she obviously can not.

This video bites. Different things work for different people. Paleo still works for a lot of people. I've lost 4kg in 30 days for example – NO EXERCISE on paleo. …and there's no need to swear. It makes you sound lower class.

Funny, I had opposite results. Which makes me think peoples bodies run differently. When I was eating lots of fruit, and little or no meat or dairy, I was squishy and couldnt build muscle, and had a very hard time staying below 130. (not fat, but not fit either, especially with flabby muscle tone). Then I took protien drinks, eggs, fish and seafood, and sometimes steaks and still ate fruit and low carb veggies, but cut the fruit down to only 2 or 3 a day, I effortlessly went down to 120, and my muscles firmed up. I felt no hunger either. I wish I could look good eating only fruits, nuts and veggies, but that just didnt work for me. Maybe because I live in a cold climate, I dk.

I don't use caloric theory because it is extremely misleading. It is very easy to find people losing weight on 5000 calories a day or gaining weight on 1200 calories a day. Diet is a game of quality, not quantity.

"Afework Hagos, a computer programmer, was on his way to work but stuck in a traffic jam near the Pentagon when the plane flew over. 'There was a huge screaming noise and I got out of the car as the plane came over. Everybody was running away in different directions. It was tilting its wings up and down like it was trying to balance. It hit some lampposts on the way in.'"
