You must understand that while diet plays a huge role in acne, so do many other things. Getting adequate sleep, engaging in physical activity on a regular basis, and managing your stress are part of the rest of the story.

I am sure many of you have heard of the paleo diet. It sure has grown popularity over the last few years and will continue to grow exponentially until we are all caveman again.

Yes.

But, remember that diet is only part of a healthy, holistic lifestyle. If you consume an abundance of veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, and quality organic meat and eggs, then you have an excellent chance of having glowing skin. Avoiding all grains, legumes (includes peanuts), and all dairy products is also a piece to the puzzle.

You may think doing the above is impossible. I almost thought it was impossible until I opened my mind a little. I mean we all love our pasta, bread, rice, and oatmeal. These are all grains. I would never expect anyone to immediately go from eating lots of grains to no grains overnight. Let it be a journey. Consume less and less as the days go on.

It is easy if you let it be!
