you can't be doing a low carb and calories diet at the same time. Also you should eat small portions. and what is your fat intake? keep it up! you can do it! I think some more studying on it will help

A colleague at work made the decision to follow my recommendations and give this diet plan “lyly amazing guide” (Google it) a try. I actually started using it too, along with the results have been unbelievable. I dropped 13 pounds.

You shouldn't go low carb unless you're doing a show or photo shoot in 2 weeks. in the long term low carb does not work, I tried it for 3 months and lose more muscle mass than anything. what counts #1 is Calories and keeping out shitty oils, bleached carbs, and trans fat out of your body while maintaining your optimal calories intake for the goal you want.

I have gone thru weeks and months of "clean eating" and exercising and not losing a pound. Mainly because I would binge a lot on clean eating and lose sleep cuz of dips in blood sugar so I figured this was a me-thing. Successfully lost weight on high-fat low-carb…and also with the help of probiotics…maybe add some fermented vegetables and/or drinks in to help nutrient absorption and to feel full.

It looks like you were always a mesomorph and that seems to be the reason you weren't losing weight with a low carb diet. Mesomorphs are pretty distinguished by their proportions and you look pretty proportionate even at a larger size. A low carb diet is best for an Endomorph like myself. Ectomorphs are those super skinny types that generally struggle gaining weight. (Lucky bastards.) since you're a mesomorph from what I can tell, you'd need about equal parts Fat, carbs, and protein, and a 2000 cal diet give or take a couple hundred is probably what works for you. 🙂 for me, I'm trying to keep around 1500-1800, low carb, high protein, moderate fat. I'm certainly no expert but that's what I've gathered so far.

I try to reintroduce carbs after 3 years without them but I keep getting serious depression, anxiety and insomnia everytime I try to get on them. Why on earth do I have problem digesting carbs now?? I'm desperate for a solution. Thanks!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good for you!! Keep going; you'll get there. I've been low carb (close to zero carb) for 26 years. When I first started, it took me 6 months to lose 80 pounds. I am still at the weight I should be and I have not gotten off the diet because I LOVE WHAT I EAT! Also, my annual physical check-ups have been perfect and I have no health issues at all. You can do it, girl !! For the first year of my diet, my weight would SOMETIMES go up a bit and then back down and bounce around BECAUSE sometimes the body holds onto water, and sometimes turns fat into muscle (in which case your weight will go up). It's all a PROCESS with the body so we have to give the body time to do what it needs to do in order to lose weight over the long run. But now that my weight is stable, I don't weigh myself for weeks. In the beginning, I weighed myself every week (because I was told NOT to weigh myself every day because the body does its thing and you will become depressed when you gain a pound or two when the body is adjusting fat to muscle, etc.) Also, sodium plays a part…. so don't give up!

I have battled my weight my whole life. I tried low fat…calorie counting…weight watchers…Hilton Head Diet…Carbohydrates Addicts Diet…Phentermine pills…and so on. A year and a half ago I started on Atkins and have lost over 50lbs. I still have some to go, but eating Low Carb is the only way that I have been able to lose the weight and not be hungry. Low Carbing is my WOE nothing else will work for me like LC. My doctor is even on board and is loving the results. LC is not for everyone some people are more sensitive to carbs than others. You keep doing what your doing. You look great. :)

Sounds like you're plateaued. Your body just needs time to adjust to the new weight. After a short period of time, you'll start losing again. Just keep to what you're doing. If it worked, it's still working.

One thing I would do is put your scale in the garage, in your trunk, etc. STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF; IT'S JUST DISAPPOINTING AND FRUSTRATING. Get a big calendar and give yourself a big star for the days when you're eaten correctly. That way you'll see a visual account of how you're doing and know you're on the right track.

I did low carb for a full month + calories counting and maybe lost 1-2lb plus I felt like shit.

I eat all sorts of carbs now and I don't even have to work out that much any more to lose a steady 1-2lb a week just by portion control alone. I'm a strong believer in metabolic typing but I think it's more the fact that on low carb you are constantly aware you are on a 'diet'. Same with calorie counting as the numbers can become an obsession.

Keep the body fuelled and keep it in the background. It'll seem to go quicker.

Wonderful success! I can not say enough about exactly how terrific the “loli special plan” is. If you are not familiar with it, search for it on Google. You’ll be shocked by just what you find out.

If you have eggs for breakfast, plain chicken with spinach leaves for lunch and fish with spinach leaves for dinner plus 2 litres of water throughout the day that is a total of about 10 carbs. It is impossible not to lose weight. You have been doing something wrong like eating too much dairy which is low carb but can restrict weight loss.

I love HFLC but it makes me gain and get fat. LF high protein and moderate carb works for me. I guess it depends on each person's metabolism. My mum lost a whole load of weight HFLC but she is a T2 diabetic.

You should do low carb for a short period of time. As you keep restricting your carbohydrates from your body, it gets scared and stores the fat thinking that you're starving. Monday-Friday should be low carb and the weekends should be cheat days to restore your body to complete homeostasis.
