Low Carb Bread Recipe That Doesn’t Suck



There are tons of recipes out there for low carb bread. All of them valiant efforts to recreate the staple of life sans gluten and carbs. Unfortunately, most all fall well short of tasting anything like the real thing. If you can handle a bit of gluten, I think you’ll enjoy this recipe that has 6g net carbs per low carb roll. Just don’t freakout over one of the ingredients 😉

    I'm still using this delicious bread recipe. It is a staple in my house. We use it for burgers, egg mcmuffins, sandwiches, —everything! I make several batches and then freeze them. They freeze well but found they only stay fresh after baking them for 3 days max. I take out of the freezer and let thaw a couple hours so I can slice them. Too hard to slice frozen. Love the bread, but hate the english muffin rings. They rust so quickly and a lot! I'm going to look into non stick or silicone rings or even possibly donut /bagel baking pans. Non stick or silicone. I'm done with those rusty rings.

    I love the simplicity of this recipe. I hate some LC bread recipes that have 6 eggs, you pretty much know it will taste like eggs. I will be attempting to alter it using oat fiber instead of Bisquick, it gives quite a nice texture to breads and wraps. For someone who is simply maintaining weight loss and can tolerate some gluten this would be brilliant. Thanks for the ideas!

    I don't know why there aren't more reviews on this bread. I just made it and it was DELICIOUS! I've tried several low carb 'bread' recipes that were just disgusting and not even a teeny bit breadlike. This one here is a winner! I'm so glad I found it and so glad you shared it!
