This video made me unfollow your channel. Never have I seen anything so petty and immature in my life. I didn't know this was from a few months back when I watched it.
It's funny how yere saying that weight loss doesn't matter considering most of your thumbnails are associated with you in your bikini. I honestly think you're promoting having a good body instead of the animals and it honestly disgusts me. I've never written a bad comment on anyone's YouTube but this video filled me with so much negativity that I had to. I've reported it and I've Un subscribed. You are filling people's mind with a way of living because if you didn't live this way you wouldn't have a source of income. I hope one day you come to your sense because it seems that you've a good heart but right now you're just a hypocrite

So how does a vegetarian eat carbs without having animal products in them? Paleo eats sweet potatoes, I always go over my carbs from potatoes and veggies, oats and more. So tell me how vegetarian are better other than saving animal lives lol

  3. Leo Angere

Interesting, but the arrogance is offputting. I'll be keeping my options and curiosity open, ultimately trusting my body to tell me what it wants (not the experts to tell me what they think my body is telling me it wants). Disease in the modern world has more to do with wanting to try one or another diet but defaulting to a highly processed diet, and less to do with the particulars of any diet that people actually stick with. As to sustainability, the main culprit is modern agriculture, whether the end product is meat or veg. How is supermarket veganism any more sustainable than supermarket paleoism?
p.s. Thanks for mentioning Sara Wilson and Pete Evans. I'll be checking them out for an alternative take on the subject. I am curious about vegan, and I am curious about paleo.

this is ridiculous. Paleo is not technically low carb – you can eat fruit, sweet potatoes, and nuts. Also, getting yourself into ketosis is definitely not as easy as you say. You need to look into physiology along with nutrition. Your body NEEDS fat and protein to survive and function. Sugars are an extra fuel source, your body will go to glucose first because too much in your blood is toxic, it is more easily accessible because many people are eating more carbs than they need. But if you need to lose weight you will never lose it on a high carbs diet because your body will never need to go to its fat stores. Also when there is an excess of glucose it turns into fat, and there are processes in the body that turn that glucose into fat and there are opposite processes that turn those fat cells back into glucose that your body can use and that is where the ketones come from. when you eat a very low carb diet your body will use fat to get it's own glucose to feed the cells in your body. and for people that need to lose weight THIS IS A GOOD THING. Ugh I could go on and on but I'll stop here. you people are idiots, learn about your body – B.S. in Animal sciences focusing on nutrition and physiology

Wow! I did not know this. I've been paleo since very, very early childhood because I can't abide fruits or anything sweet tasting. And I pretty much got off of starchy foods and lost weight so that now I feel highly energized all the time. I've never been ill a day in my life, not even with a "cold" or "headache."  Not sure what to think about this video. Also, I know that if you get too much protein, some of it turns to glucose but these girls don't seem to know that. Hmmm… maybe I'll try what they are suggesting and see if it works any better than my own paleo diet. But how would I know, since I'm already as healthy as a horse and have never been ill? My diet consists mainly of fatty meats, greens and cruciferous vegetables. What do you think, guys? Should I risk my perfect health record by deviating from my diet?

  6. destroyerplayer

if this is true why do I feel so much happier on paleo? high fat has made me feel happier and more manly it's a feeling I can't describe. however when I eat tons of carbs I feel so dead with no emotion.

  7. Rachel I

Not every Paleo person uses coffee and stevia or other substitutes. Also use a BMR calculator. A female at 115lbs and 5foot CAN live on 1138 calories per day. That means, heart beating, lung function all good, this is science.

Paleo people know what sugar is. How can you really say that they are in denial that they are using real sugar. I'm sure as vegans you hear equally stupid things about your diet, such as, "are you in denial that growing fruit also kills animals?

For obese/morbidly obese people trying to lose weight, high starch diets do NOT work. Personally I gained weight as a high carb vegetarian for many many years. Especially if you have an affinity for sweets.

For many Paleo isn't about being natural. If I found out cavemen ate poo I wouldn't do it to be more natural. It is a way of eating that makes a person a fat burner.

Weight loss is life or death for some people. If you really wanted to help people you wouldn't turn your nose up at lifestyle that allows obese…really actually obese people to lose weight.

Normal people that have 10lbs to lose different story, carb up, whatever. I have spent like 15 years trying to find a way of eating that makes me lose weight without severe calorie restriction. I'm putting years back on my life. Why should I gain the weight back and essentially kill myself because of 6 to 12 oz of flesh per day?

If I am helping people and animals directly, isn't it better that I have a few more years to do that and eat a few ounces of chicken per day?

  8. Jesse Page

I have no sugar cravings and I've been paleo for 2 years. I eat around 80 grams of carbs a day and I never feel sluggish. I don't drink coffee either… For peace loving vegans you guys sure are confrontational and vulgar.

  9. Mary Kate McGowan

Honestly, this video kind of pissed me off. You guys said a bunch of lies about the paleo diet and I bet you didn't ask any people who actually follow it and have made it sustainable. Yes, there's food that you can eat on the paleo diet that's not great for you, but don't act like every vegan food is so great for you. Oreo's are fucking vegan, so don't act like every vegan food is great for you and it might be good for you two to take a step back and actually observe something instead of just shouting lies about it, because you want someone else to be wrong to feed your ego

  10. Jung Hwang

I think your friend should've finished her third year first before helping you make this video. As she said, she didn't learn how to appropriately interact with people with the knowledge. For one, everybody responds differently to different diets. Two, most people who do take short term paleo diets are only in for the weight loss and nothing more. And three, because of her aggressive remarks against the Paleo diet, this video is only going to fuel the hate against the people who are on this diet and not really help the people who think this diet is appropriate. Just saying… Oh and I'm not on a paleo diet. I'm the sort of guy that eats whatever I want and not gain weight. Yay.

  11. Alexa Luker

this is bullshit. I went raw vegan for 6 months and WENT from a SAD diet so doesn't that mean I should have dropped weight? nope. I gained 10 pounds in a week and I retained so much water while drinking 2+ gallons of water a day. I'm paleo I have energy I do not feel bloated and I have dropped 20 pounds. Everyone's body is different. This is a very biased closed minded video.

  12. Esther Kasozi

You two are full of crap not everyone lives on mc Donald's idiots eg myself I had been eating with carbs plus calorie counting exercise an all that and have not been able to lose more than maybe half a pound a month as soon as I cut out carbs bam weight started melting off so er Yh and question have u ever been fat? I doubt so how about try it then post findings instead

  13. Hannah Akridge

Thank you for this video! I used to be on the keto diet……I maintained my weight, but I was also restricting calories (and I was hungry a lot) BUT it is the first time in my entire life that I ever had acid reflux….makes so much sense now! I'm not a vegan, but I've just bought groceries for this week….starting tomorrow! :D

  14. Adam H

Fundamentally, there needs to be a balance. You need fat, carbs and protein in your diet as they are critical for many processes.
What pisses me off is when you vegans say eat high carb and low fat. How is that logical when vitamins like A, D, E and K are fat soluble and are so critical for our survival.
Vitamin b12 is what you vegans lack too and must be on supplements, so much for your 'natural' diets.

  15. Denise Maria Branquinho

please, someone help me! i need having these blue eyes! Just kidding! the thing is: our liver makes the glucose that our body needs from the fats that we eat in these paleo and kito diet! what is the problem? i just don't agree with the meat, because eat meat is imoral and selfish. We have to respect other lives.

  16. june song

Can you explain why grassfed animal products are unpreferred aside from the animal cruelty aspect? especially if you or your friend is studying nutrition, you cannot deny that there nutrients in wholesome animal products, i.e. Pasture raised, organic etc…

  17. Jacquelin Eng

Hey you are just teenager and no fucking idea what you study. You better continue on your what you believe in and I guarantee you at the age of thirties you will start know what paleo talking about.
